With operations in 11 major cities throughout the country, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program provides a range of opportunities, from business support services and education to financial capital. A $500 million enterprise in the United States, the program also operates in the United Kingdom to encourage growth in both markets. Designed with the small business owner in mind, the program addresses common concerns such as customer attraction and retention, financing issues, and business strategy development.

Free for those who pass the application process, the program features a comprehensive system that promotes education and networking. For example, the nine classroom sessions and four focused modules cover topics that improve the chance of success in all areas of business. Graduates experience significant revenue increases, and many are able to create new jobs. Ninety percent of participants reported they would recommend the program.
